Posted 11/28/2025 Phee came to the nest from a local shelter where she had given birth to 6 puppies Mid September. Phee is about 6 years old, she weighs about 15 lbs. and is in excellent health. She is very sweet and affectionate and LOVES being with her human. She loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch. Phee gets along great with other dogs and cats, she is fine with kids as well. She loves to be active and play with toys. For Phee we are looking for a home with active people who can take her for long walks and give her a lot of attention. Phee's adoption application of $300 includes vaccinations including Rabies, spaying, heartworm and flea prevention and micro chipping. If you are interested in adopting Phee please fill out an adoption application on our web site. Should you not receive an answer within 48 hours please email us (sometimes the application does not go through...)

This doesn't obligate you to adopt the pet, it just lets us get to know you and see if you would be a good match for each other.

The Nest,is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and re-home animals that come from local animal shelters or from individuals who contact us directly.
We are guided by the following ideals:
We will always place the physical and mental well-being of our animals above our own and that of other individuals, making a constant effort to act as an advocate for the animals we serve.
We will to the best of our ability assist in the care and placement of animals that require our assistance, regardless of age, demeanor, physical or behavioral health, because we believe that all animals at any stage in life and health have inherent value and an important place in the world in which we all live.
We will provide educational support for those individuals who seek our assistance, believing that educating the public is one of the keys to keeping animals in their homes and preventing senseless euthanasia.
We will provide ongoing care and homes for animals we cannot place in adoptive homes, because we believe that animals that make their way to The Nest should be cared for until their last days.
