If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I am trying to find a home for my grandparents dog to live out her final years. My grandparents are elderly and can not care for her anymore, and I would hate for her to spend her last years in a shelter. She is also a senior dog, 12-13 years old, and would do best as an only dog or with other senior pets that are calm. I don’t believe she has any health issues. She is still able to jump up on the couch and I know that she likes to be close to someone at night to sleep. My two year old son has been around her and she was very gentle with him, just curious and a little skiddish. Please reach out if you are interested.
