Simba is an energetic and curious guinea pig who loves to popcorn around his enclosure and greet people at the front of his habitat. He's looking for an adopter who can offer daily social time, gentle handling and plenty of enrichment like hideouts and chew toys. Simba's care routine includes unlimited hay, fresh veggies, vitamin C support and a clean, well-ventilated enclosure. With his bright personality and playful nature, Simba will bring lots of joy to the right family.

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
