Meet Cricket, a 3.5 y.o. female kitty! Cricket came to FVHA as a surrender.
Cricket is a beautiful, sensitive girl with a shy personality and a heart that’s still learning how to trust. She’s feeling overwhelmed right now and is working hard on her social skills, taking each day one tiny step at a time. Cricket needs a patient, understanding home that can give her the support, consistency, and love she deserves while she discovers that the world isn’t so scary after all.
Once Cricket begins to open up, her sweet quirks start to shine. She loves watching the world go by from a cozy window perch and has a surprising playful side, especially when water is involved! Whether it’s dipping her paws in a water dish or investigating a dripping faucet, little moments like these show just how special she is beneath the fear.
Cricket would thrive best with someone who can move at her pace, celebrate her small victories, and help her build confidence over time. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, this shy girl has the potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

Meet the Pet
After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

Sign Adoption Contract
If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.
4.
Take the Pet Home
Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
