Sandy is a big, beautiful, sweet girl who is ready to be the queen of someone’s home. From our observations she would most likely prefer to be the only kitty in the home. She really just likes to be a diva and get all the attention. Sandy hasn’t met any dogs, that we know of, but does not react when they come up to the window. She loves to chase crickets if they sneak into the cattery when she is out playing, and also loves to chase the elusive red dot from the laser pointer. Sandy also loves to climb up on the cat tower and take flying leaps across to the cubbies. For a big girl she can really fly! Every once in a while, if she gets overstimulated, she may give a little love bite, but she’s just gently saying that she needs her space at that moment. The majority of the time she’ll sit by you just wanting petting or brushing.

Our goal is to adopt as many pets into loving forever homes as possible each month. We screen applications and arrange meet and greet times with each animal. Once the potential adopter has completed their application and met the pet, we do a 1 on 1 consultation about pet care and the life expectancy of their new family member.
