Cecelia came from one of the rural shelters in NC where she was described as an 8-year old heart worm positive senior girl. What they couldn’t tell me was how she is a sweet, loving and energetic Velcro dog who loves nothing more than rolling in the grass and chewing a bully stick. She loves to be outdoors, sniffing around the house and sitting in the sun. Cecelia is great in the car and always up for a ride. And now that she has completed her heart worm treatment, Cecelia is looking forward to walks with her family. Cecelia has completed training to help her learn how to not be reactive to other dogs.
Cecelia was identified as needing to be the only dog in the house. I believe she would be best as the only pet in the household as she does seem to be jealous of the resident cats. She would also appreciate a home where she can snuggle on the couch and maybe in a warm bed with her person/people. She was saved from the shelter and we just want her to have her perfect home.
