My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Billy is a 7-month-old male Terrier/Curr mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was found as a stray; and no owner came to claim him.  Billy was not in good shape when he came to PAHS.  After nearly 2 months of good care--he is beginning to look better.  Billy was thin; and he had hair loss when he first came to the shelter.  He has gained weight (he's up to 36 pounds now); and his hair is beginning to fill back in.  We think Billy had been on the run for a while before he was brought in.  He has blossomed with the love and care the staff have shown him.  Billy is crate trained and uses puppy pads; so he is working on his house training.  He is very well behaved when walking on a leash.  This cuddle bug is affectionate and loves children and other dogs.  Billy has had a rough start on life; and he deserves to have a great new home.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
