My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Auggie! This 6-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd was rescued from a kill shelter, and hes ready to start his happily-ever-after. Auggie may be shy and timid at first, but give him a little time and hell trust you completelythen flip right over for his favorite thing: belly rubs. Augustus came to ARPO after being owner-surrendered with his two brothers and landed on the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter before being saved. Now, hes ready for the second chance he so deserves and a forever family to love him for life. Hes working hard on potty training and even learning to ring the bell. Treat-motivated and smart, hes catching on to commands quickly. Auggie loves other dogs, adores kids, and would thrive in a patient, loving home where he can continue to blossom. Neutered, microchipped, and full of potentialAuggie is ready to find his person. If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
