My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bridget is a beautiful, affectionate girl who’s searching for a forever family to call her own. She came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and is now thriving in her New Jersey foster home. From the moment she arrived, Bridget has shown what a truly special soul she is.

Bridget adores people and has a gentle, welcoming nature that makes her an instant favorite. She loves greeting new friends with a happy hello (and sometimes a hug!), curling up next to you on the couch, or simply being close to her humans. She’s the perfect mix of playful and laid-back—always happy to enjoy a good walk or trail adventure, then relax by your side for the rest of the day.

She enjoys playtime, especially a good game of tug, and occasionally gets short bursts of playful energy with her toys. Bridget is crate trained and mostly house trained, though she’s still learning her routine and may have the occasional accident. She’s also working on her leash manners, as she can pull when she’s excited, and she’ll benefit from basic training since she doesn’t yet know commands. With her sweet temperament and eagerness to please, she’s sure to blossom with a little guidance and consistency.

Overall, Bridget is a loving, friendly, and gentle companion who gets along well with everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your home with love, companionship, and joy, Bridget may be the perfect match for you.

Bridget is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is heartworm negative.   Her adoption fee is $45 0.

Additional adoption info

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
