Meet Tucker! This standard poodle is 53 lbs, and about 3 yrs old. He is still packed with energy and acts like a clumsy puppy! He loves to carry a toy or ball in his mouth. He'll chase after balls you throw. He loves to run on a walk, but he comes back to you if you call him in. He is a good looking poodle with dark black fur. His fur was highly matted upon rescue, and we are working on cutting out the mats until he can get in with a groomer. He didn't like his head touched at first, but he's getting used to head rubs and hugs ... feeling safer now. He is a fun and affectionate dog!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to rescue abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and to facilitate needed services of food, spay/neuter, medical care, and temporary housing. We partner with local veterinarians and fosters to provide these needed services while we work to find permanent, caring homes for each dog. In addition, we create public awareness on the importance of spay/neuter, medical, and nutritional care for pets in our local community.
