I’m Iris Named after the Goddess of the Rainbow—known for kindness, communication, and bringing warmth wherever she goes—Iris truly lives up to her name.
When I first meet new humans or dogs, I can be very nervous, but once I realize I’m safe… I absolutely blossom. I become sweet, social, and full of sunshine. I’m playful, a little spunky, and once I’m comfortable, I love exploring and trying new things.
But my favorite place in the whole world?
Laying in your arms. I melt right into you during naps and stay gentle and cuddly the entire time.

Submit Application
First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.
Home Check
This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.
Approve Application
Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.
Meet the Pet
Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.

Once you have had a meet and greet you get 24 hours to think of weather you'd like to adopt. Both the foster and adopter must mutually agre
