My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bean has spent half her life in a shelter and is enjoying everything freedom brings! She has learned a lot since breaking out four weeks ago! Everything fascinates her! She is a lover, if you appreciate waking up to a big head with a ball in your face Bean is your girl! She recently completed ten days of intensive training. She is ok on a leash and is getting better at walking with a long leash and lead. She is reading cues from foster mom. She has a big smile and is genuinely a happy girl. She loves to sit in the sun and watch everything around her….without barking. She is fascinated with people on bikes and really enjoys car and golf cart rides. Ball is her favorite game although zoomies are moving up in priorities! She would do great in a home with a big yard for zoomies, a human with a good arm for ball throwing ( and kisses), maybe a bike for her to run next to and a family to adore her as she deserves!

More about this rescue

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.

In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:

Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.

Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.

Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.

Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
