My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and gentle nature shines through. She loves having her head and back scratched and will happily lean in for more once she knows she can trust you. Rosie enjoys calm spaces, quiet companionship, and a patient home that will let her open up at her own pace. She gets along well with other respectful animals and blossoms with gentle attention. Rosie is ready to find a loving family who will give her the comfort, kindness, and security she deserves.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
