This gorgeous, sweet, silly, loving little lady is Marigold! She came into the pound with her best buddy (a boxer) when the two of them were going door to door greeting families in the neighborhood! They hopped right up into the animal control truck and this girl was all tail wags! She’s been a loving social butterfly from the beginning. Once in the pound she managed to steal everyone’s hearts! Thankfully a fantastic volunteer was happy to foster this girl so she could get away from the dangers of the pound and have a chance at a wonderful life!
Marigold is only about 10 months old and she is such a doll! Her current weight is about 40 lbs and she will likely max out at a perfectly petite 45 lbs! She’s gone to the vets and had everything completed including vaccines, deworming, microchipping, heartworm testing negative, and she’s now spayed! She’s current on preventative and a healthy pup, and she’s officially ready to begin her next chapter!
Marigold has been a complete joy. She’s nicknamed Goldie and she genuinely does have a heart of gold! She settled into foster care beautifully! She loves her doggy foster siblings and she gets to go to dog parks and play groups and this girl makes fast friends with everyone! She is active and absolutely loves to play with other dogs!! She’s confident and the kind of pup who’s ready to be by your side through whatever adventures you’d like her to join you on. She’s happy to go for car rides, hikes, jogs, breweries, Home Depot, Barnes and noble, or just run and play in the yard with other dogs! She’s also very human oriented and enjoys being by your side whether you’re doing chores, errands, or relaxing on the sofa. She enjoys cuddling so snuggly parents are a must for this sweet girl! She’s doing wonderful with house training and reliably goes potty in her foster parents yard. She’s doing great with leash training and is a wonderful social butterfly! She’s just a youngster and the sky is the limit for this beautiful girl, she just needs to find her dream home! Great Divide Animal Rescue (GDAR) is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based out of North Carolina. We are run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly for the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful placement of the most needy of animals.
Our focus is to help animals of all species in need. We do so by providing services in both rescue/foster/placement of homeless pets, but we also partner with several animal control facilities.
