This nine-month-old, 30-pound Carolina/hound mix is our playful princess! She arrived at GLDR with her siblings Rosa and Martin and these deserving pups are ready to begin lives with loving families today! Rosa has already been adopted, so lets help Harriet find her forever family too!
Harriet is currently enjoying some time away in a fabulous foster home! Harriet is crate-trained and is on her way to being house-trained as well. She enjoys hanging with the other pup in the home and tends to have a dominant play style with her. She's also spent time with kids and enjoys being vocal while playing with them. Harriet is a very affectionate gal and is happiest when she's with her people.
A fan of all sorts of treats, Harriet is very food-motivated and would benefit from a slow feeder in her new home. She's good on her leash and also rides well in the car. Harriet is ready to join you on all of your adventures! She prefers hard chew toys and her foster mom is able to take both food and toys away with no issue.
As she is still a young lady, Harriet will benefit from continued training in her new home. She will thrive with daily exercise and a yard to enjoy. After playfully pouncing her way through the day, she sleeps quietly through the night, dreaming of her forever family.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Harriet will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel she has the potential to live in a home with other animals her size and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
