This nine-month-old Carolina/hound mix is our 30-pound, warm-hearted wonder boy! He arrived at GLDR with his sisters Harriet and Rosa and these deserving pups are ready to begin lives with loving families today!
Before coming to GLDR, Martin and his siblings were in a fabulous foster home and we can't wait to share all we've learning about this terrific trio! Martin is a timid boy who who loves to snuggle up with his favorite people You can often find him in the laps of one of his adoring fans. Martin is blind in his right eye, but it doesn't stop him from being the cuddle king!
Martin is crate-trained and is a fan of all sorts of treats! He's good on his leash and also rides well in the car. Martin enjoys his tough chew toys and her foster mom was able to take both food and toys away with no issue. He loves his time outdoors and enjoys running around with his siblings.
As he is still a young man, Martin will benefit from continued training and confidence building in his new home. He will thrive with daily exercise and a yard to enjoy. Martin is a very connecting boy and will be happiest when he's with his people. After a fun-filled day, he sleeps quietly through the night, dreaming of the day his forever family will come knocking.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Martin will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel he has the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
If you think Martin could be the guy for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our sensitive sweetheart!
