My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ray Bradbury!

If you’re looking for a cat who brings pure whimsy to everyday life, Ray Bradbury is your guy. Much like his iconic namesake, this sweet and silly fellow is all about warmth, imagination, and just a hint of charming mischief. Ray has a gentle heart and a playful streak that feels straight out of a feel-good short story, one where the hero purrs loudly and occasionally knocks over a pen for dramatic effect.

Ray Bradbury loves people, loves attention, and loves other cats! He may even do well with a dog too. If you’re ready for a companion who turns your home into a heartwarming tale full of sweetness, silliness, and soft purrs, Ray Bradbury is ready to start the next chapter with you!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
