My story

Physical Description Vera is a beautiful black domestic shorthair kitten with a light grey undercoat.
Personality Vera has a big personality and an even bigger purr. Growing up with her four siblings and her doting big sister Maggie, she has mastered the art of rough-and-tumble play and is always ready for a good wrestling match or a game of chase.

This little girl is also a total foodie—Churu treats are her absolute favorite! She’ll happily sit, spin, and show off her cutest tricks for a tasty reward. When she’s not playing or snacking, Vera adores being petted and will quickly turn into a purring machine the moment you give her attention.

Because she’s grown up surrounded by feline friends, Vera needs to be adopted into a home with another friendly kitten or cat, or she can be adopted together with one of her siblings (or Maggie!). She truly thrives with companionship and will be happiest with a buddy by her side.

If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, treat-loving kitten to brighten your home, Vera might be the perfect match!

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).  A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
