My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Scooter is a wonderful, loving, handsome boy. When he first entered foster care, he was terrified and wanted to stay in his carrier. He would allow you to pull him out and pet him but he would run back to his carrier as soon as he could. Within a few days, he would relax and purr while getting petted but still stayed in his carrier and would not come out on his own for petting. A few more days and he began coming out to get petted. Now - he doesn't need his carrier. He wants to be on your lap. He loves being hugged. He loves getting kissed and lifts his lips to yours and gives love pats. He loves rolling over and getting his chest scratched. He loves playing with wand toys with you. His development has been amazing and it continues. Won't you be the next step in his glorious adventure and give him his forever home.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
