Mitty is awesome with dogs; he tolerates cats but really loves dogs. He is a big loverboy and will sit on your lap as much as he can. He does not like change, so he may act out the first week or so, but once he settles in his new home, he is very well behaved and a joy to be around. He is very good with the litter box. I have never had an accident with him. If he should get outside, he will not leave your yard. He often goes outside with me as I do yard work, and I never have to worry about him wandering off. He is always in my view, or keeps me in his view. I would wait until he sees your home as his before allowing him to assist you in yard work. He may be skiddish at first, but he will warm up to you. I am sad to see him go but I can not take him with me.
