My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Information: Petunia is an estimated 7-month old female pittie mix currently weighing approximately 40 lbs. According to our rescue partner in Tulsa, OK, Petunia is the sweetest, happy go lucky girl that gets along great with everybody. She is submissive, playful and curious. She was found wandering the streets as a stray. After no one claimed her, she went into a foster home and now will be joining us here in the Seattle area.

Foster Profile:   Petunia is doing wonderfully and has settled beautifully into family life. She is spayed, fully crate trained with no whining, sleeps through the night, and can be left crated during the day when properly exercised. She enjoys long walks on leash and has excellent manners.

Petunia loves people and is especially fond of kids. Because she can be jumpy when excited, she would do best with slightly older children. She is shy and submissive with other dogs and prefers gentle, canine companions. Once she is all comfortable she loves to play, she just needs a moment to warm up.

She is a very fun, high-energy girl who also knows how to settle and relax with her family. Petunia would thrive in an active home and would strongly prefer a home with a garden or yard where she can run and play. She loves yard time, living room play, long walks, and being close to her people.

Overall, she is a super sweet, joyful companion who will make a great addition to an active family or person.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).
