Say hello to Madeline’s 4 puppies - 1 boy, 3 girls - Born Oct 6, 2025
Mom Madeline is about 18 months old. She and her four puppies were rescued together on October 20, 2025. Madeline has been a quiet, patient, and very gentle mom who loves people and learns quickly. The pups were about two weeks old at the time and have been thriving in foster care ever since. They are growing well, fully weaned, and will be 8 weeks old on December 1. All puppies are sleeping and napping happily in crates. They are learning to potty in designated areas. In their foster home they have been around big dogs, cats and people in a busy, noisy household. They all like crinkly noise toys, will chase a ball, and generally like things that roll. They are also starting to tug on small toys. The puppies are healthy, social, and developing their own individual personalities.
MARCIE 7.5 lbs - The Life-of-the-Party - She brings the fun! Marcie’s the energetic, agile pup who wants to be part of every moment. Curious, brave, and always up for play, she’s the puppy who makes the whole room smile.
ADOPTED - LUCY 7 lbs - The Snuggle Bug With Sparkle - She loves affection and warms up quickly, but she also brings a cute bit of sass to keep things lively. Lucy’s a loving, people-focused pup who enjoys both quiet moments and playful bursts of energy.
ADOPTED - SALLY 7.3 lbs - The Curious Best Friend - She is clever, people-focused, and always up for a small adventure. Marcie likes to stay close, watching and learning before she trots off to explore. She’s the perfect mix of brainy and affectionate.
ADOPTED - CHARLIE 7.8 lbs- The Noble Softie - He has that “old soul” puppy energy — calm, smart, and a little bit regal. He prefers to observe first, then leap into play with confidence. Charlie’s the biggest of the group and the most dependable, a truly lovely pup.
The Peanuts Puppies are current on vaccinations, as well as heartworm and flea/tick prevention. They are microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, they will need to be altered by their new owner when they reach approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $75 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to inquire (or apply here - https://norcalbcrescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/) about the pups, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
The “Peanuts” Puppies are being fostered in Galt in Sacramento County, California.
