Penny is loving, cuddly, gentle, and incredibly well behaved. She wants nothing more than to be near her people, soaking up affection and returning it tenfold. She has mastered the art of snuggling and takes her couch time seriously. Think cozy companion, not marathon runner.

She is listed as two years old, though her calm nature suggests she might be a little older. Penny enjoys leisurely walks and does beautifully on a leash, though traffic still makes her nervous. She prefers a quiet world and plenty of time to rest. The crate is both comfort and conflict for her. She happily goes in to relax, but being locked in or left alone is still hard. Decompression is very much in progress, and patience is key.

Penny is not a dog for a busy, on the go household. She would shine with someone home often who values calm companionship, routine, and lots of love. With time, reassurance, and consistency, her confidence will continue to grow.
