My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor Only*

Mew is a small, grey female kitten who is as sweet as she is brave. She loves to sit in the window, soak up the sunshine, and watch birds and leaves pass by. Mew is the first one to grab a new toy and carry it away. She loves to play with a laser pointer, and you'll be impressed by how high she can jump to catch it! Mew also lays her head on your shoulder every time you pick her up. She would be ok as a single cat but would also love to be adopted with one of her siblings or to join an existing family pet. No issues with other cats, no dog experience.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
