I’m Jake… but not Jake from State Farm! Can we please clear that up right now? I swear, every time someone hears my name, they ask if I’m wearing khakis. I’m a cat. I don’t even wear a collar, let alone business-casual pants. And no, I cannot help you with your insurance quote—unless the quote is for “one very handsome feline who deserves treats on demand.” In that case, yes, I fully support that policy.
Anyway, hi! I’m Jake, a large, lovable, neutered guy with a mysterious past. I was found wandering the streets of Portland, Indiana, but thanks to my microchip, we learned I originally came from Fort Wayne. How I made that journey… well, that’s a claim even I can’t explain. Unfortunately, the microchip details were a dead end, so my original people couldn’t be reached.
So here I am—safe, healthy, and searching for my forever home. I’m handsome (I’m not bragging, it’s just true), friendly, and ready to be your new favorite Jake. I promise I’m much lower maintenance than the one on TV, and I come with zero paperwork. Just love.
If you’re looking for a big sweetheart with a side of humor and a sprinkle of mystery, come meet me. I’d love to finally settle down… preferably in a home where no one asks me about khakis again! If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com
