Why I need a new home

Relocating

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My family adopted Fergie when in 2003 from a shelter. At that time, he was eight months old.
Fergy and I are extremely close after 12 years together. This is a heartbreaking relocation, a family member needs medical care and so we need to go.
We have exhausted, our family resources in trying to place him with someone he knows. In fact, a friend of the family just backed out of taking him.
But he is a very sweet, cute, gentle, and trusting little guy. He wants to be with you even if he’s just sleeping nearby.
He doesn’t run or play as much just because he’s old and his feet are tender, but he does take guided long walks and will want you to play with him with his toys, and give plenty of belly rubs!
Fergy responds to gentleness and not harsh commands.
He has cataracts in both eyes, but can see contrasts in light. He has a very sensitive stomach and has prescription nuggets. He also eats plain chicken, sometimes peas, and a little white rice.
