Raphael is a 2-year-old male Mastiff mix with the perfect blend of soft silly goofball and devoted companion. At about 65 lbs and still filling out after a tough past, this sweet boy is blossoming more every day.
Raphael arrived with a significant skin injury, likely from a burn, but he has handled recovery like a champion. Thanks to our clinic, his skin is healing beautifully and he is on the mend. The clinic team describes him as a “sweet angel boy” who soaks up affection and even gets adorably jealous when other dogs get attention. Despite a history of neglect, Raphael has shown nothing but gratitude and softness toward his caregivers.
Raphael is currently finishing up medications to help his skin heal and keep him comfortable. He will need a simple recheck in one week, but otherwise he’s ready to head off to foster and start his new life!
