My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Hudson, and I’d love to be your new best friend! I’ve overheard humans say I’m smart, snuggly, and spunky. I don’t know what that means, but the way they say it makes me think I’m a very good boy. One thing I do know is that I’ve got a big heart. I might be little excitable on the outside at times, but I’m a gentle soul on the inside. I really want to be my best self around others and take in all the love that comes my way.

Let’s get to the good stuff…I’m housetrained and excellent at napping and snuggling. I know how to sit for a treat and don’t bark unless I really need your attention. I am working on becoming a champion with leash walking and enjoying my crate. When not in my crate, I respect boundaries and don’t engage in rampant destruction.

My dream is to find a family looking for a sweet and fun companion who looks ridiculous when he gets the zoomies. I’d love some space to safely run and play outdoors, but I’m also happy with inside play, snuggling, and walks. As for kids, I’m always curious and eager to meet them but have only been in a home with children over 12.

If you’re looking for a buddy to brighten your life, I just might be your perfect match! Please come and meet me to see just how special I am.

"I'll be home for Christmas!" For applications received now through 12/31/2025, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
