Clover is a bright, silly, curious, & affectionate young Mastiff who has blossomed beautifully in foster care w/me. When she arrived, she didn’t understand toys, play, or how to simply be a dog. She flinched at every movement, yet her bubbly personality & gentle nature still shone through. Within weeks, she became a happy girl who loves fetch, learns quickly, & bonds deeply w/people she trusts. She does a happy dance when she sees her people or senses an upcoming walk. She is excellent on a leash & has strong recall.
She came into my home 5 mths ago as a foster w/her companion Ginger after being removed from a home by Animal Control. I adopted them both, but a planned adoption fell through, & I am now struggling to meet their needs financially & timewise. This decision is especially painful after losing a beloved dog in June. Clover is highly responsive to training & eager to please. As a guardian breed, she can be protective but is an absolute sweetheart who deserves the perfect home
