Hi! I'm Charlotte! (Long-time followers might also remember me as Buttercup.) My best friend, Samantha (then Callie), and I have been in the shelter several times over the last 4 years. We were adopted together as kittens, then returned 2 years later. Then we were adopted again ... and, well, you get the idea. We don't know why—we are great girls! Enough about the sad stuff. (Which is easier said than done!)
I am the Queen of Bleps! More often than not, you'll find my little tongue poking out of my mouth. It's adorable! Even at 4 years old, I am very playful. I will chase a ribbon wand toy, and I will also pounce if you move the toy under the blanket. It can't escape me! I am confident, but I am having a little bit of a hard time readjusting to not having the forever home I thought I did. The nice people at the shelter are spending time with me and making me feel more comfortable. But when they leave, I get sad and meow at the door for companionship. I just need some reassurance that it will all be OK.
If you're looking for a pair of incredibly sweet and fun adult kitties, we are your girls! But—please—we need someone who's in this for the long haul. We've already been dumped several times because "something better came along" ... We need someone who will include us in their life plans.
Included in our adoption fee, all of our kitties are vaccinated, FELV / FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, spayed / neutered, and checked out by a veterinarian.
