My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Rufus is looking for a foster or foster to adopt home until his neuter in December when he will then be available for adoption **

Meet Rufus. The adorable Ruby Eye Florida White bunny that is only bout a year old. Don’t let those glowing ruby peepers fool you—Rufus is a certified gentle bean. He’s a little shy at first (can you blame him? He was abandoned outside in November!), but once he warms up, he’s as sweet as a marshmallow in hot cocoa. He's the type who peeks around corners quietly instead of demanding snacks loudly… for now.
Rufus is working very hard on his litter box résumé. He’s not quite “professional” yet, but hey—he’s got heart, determination, and adorable twitchy whiskers. With a stable home and a little encouragement, he’s on track to becoming a true potty prodigy.
He’s scheduled for his big “becoming a responsible adult bun” appointment in December. Once he's healed, we think he’ll make an excellent bonding candidate—especially for a gentle bun friend who’d enjoy a quiet companionship with a soft-hearted boy

Rufus would love:

A patient adopter who understands shy buns blossom over time

Cozy hideouts, soft blankets, and maybe a tunnel or two for dramatic entrances

A potential bunny buddy after he’s neutered and recovered

Why adopt Rufus : He’s sweet. He’s soft. He’s loyal. He’s got ruby eyes that say “I’m mysterious,” but a personality that says “I am baby.” Rufus deserves the warm, loving home he never got—and he’s ready to love you right back.
