I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.

I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.

Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.

I may be shy at first, but once we get to know each other I will shower you with love!

I am a sweet and sensitive pup who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.

I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you. I'd love to join you for walks, hikes, and everything in between.

I am a full time love-bug and part time cuddle-bug.

In my last home, I did great in the crate!

The type of home I'm looking for:

I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I can be picky about my canine companions. Slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust to a home with resident dogs.

I may prefer to be the only dog in the home.

I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Additional adoption info

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
