If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cody is 8 years old and was rehomed to us in 2019 when he had some aggression issues with another male dog at his previous home. Since being with us, he has shown further aggression toward other males dogs and small children and should therefore live in a home without other male dogs or small kids.
Otherwise, Cody is an exceptionally happy and energetic boy. He is very healthy, is addicted to playing fetch (he prefers red rubber balls above all else), and loves to cuddle on couches. His favorite treat is licking your ice cream bowl after you have finished your scoop. He is crate trained and knows a couple standard tricks (sitting and laying down). He picks up on commands quickly and responds well to gestures and treats. He is a shepherd through and through and will try to herd creatures smaller than him. He’s the kind of dog who needs a job!
