Why I need a new home

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My daughter brought this cat to my home nine years ago when she was a kitten. She’s had a litter of kittens and she’s been spayed. She was a great mama. I could tell she was a good cat by the way she got along with my 95 pound dog and the children that regularly come to my home. I am moving out of town to an area that has coyotes and bears - and because she is an indoor outdoor cat, I do not want her to be killed. She is a family member and very important to us, but I love her too much to expose her to likelihood of being harmed by wildlife. I have asthma and I’m allergic to her or otherwise she would be completely indoors. Right now she lives indoors and outdoors in my laundry room and backyard.

Annie is very loving. She likes treats. She goes on family walks when I let her. I don’t put a collar on her neck, but she plays with the big boys very well. She’s also the guardian of the property. She doesn’t let any animals give her any slack. Sometimes we call her Sarge. We love her.
