New environments can be a little stressful for him at first, but with patience and reassurance, he settles in and does wonderfully. Charlie is great with kids, other cats, and dogs, making him a lovely fit for a variety of homes. He’s a sensitive, loving boy who will thrive with a family willing to give him the time and security he needs to feel safe and confident.

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries.
