Molly has been a wonderful cat for the past 10 years. I adopted her as a kitten at 7 weeks old and she has been by my side ever since. She loves snuggling and cuddling and is an overall very lovable cat.
Over the past couple of years, after welcoming a child, she has grown increasingly anxious and tends to hide whenever the child is up. She was never around children prior to this and has really never seemed to warm up, instead growing more anxious. This has also caused her to start having accidents in the house.
I have also started having increased allergic reactions anytime her fur is near my face
She started having seizures a little over a year ago and has been on medication since. She does extremely well as long as her medication is given regularly.
This is a decision that is very much not taken lightly as she has been an extremely loyal pet, but we feel that for all of these reasons, she would be happier and it would be best to have her in a different home.
