Meet Ruby. This sweet 7-month-old, 35lb. girl is a perfect example of the beautiful Irish Setter breed.
Ruby doesn't have a nice past... but we will make sure her future is bright!
Ruby was found along with her sibling Ryder at the local dump, where she was left to fend for herself by her breeder.
They were both near starvation, and because of that, Ruby is very food motivated.
Since she has been with us, she has kept her kennel clean. We believe she will be easy to house train. And she loves her toys! She obviously didn't have any to call her own, and will take her toys to her "room."
This sweet girl loves to go on walks and is mastering leash walking. She bonds quickly with her family and always needs supervision when outside because she will come find you if she can't see you. She hasn't been around cats but loves other dogs. She is a little shy at first with new people but warms up quickly to everyone. Small kids may be overwhelmed with her exuberance.
Ruby is ready to find her happily ever after. We are requiring a secure fenced yard for her to run and play. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Ruby, complete an app and tell us more about your family.
