Cocoa came into foster care with her sister Eggnog after the two were found sick, alone, cold, and struggling to survive. While Eggnog was in very rough shape, Cocoa was a bit stronger physically, and she’s been the gentle, steady presence her sister has leaned on from the start.
Cocoa has a more reserved personality, but once she feels safe, her sweet side shines. She has a big, rumbly purr that starts up the moment you give her attention, and she loves nothing more than quietly hanging out near her people. Just like her sister, she enjoys climbing onto your shoulder to perch and observe the world from up high.
She may be more timid, and she’s definitely not as food motivated as Eggnog, but she has her own adorable quirks. Cocoa loves chasing jingle balls, batting them around with surprising speed and enthusiasm before scampering back to you for reassurance.
