My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Flora is a gentle, soulful bloodhound puppy with a sweetness that sneaks up on you. She’s growing fast, and her huge paws and impossibly soft ears hint at the big, loyal companion she’ll become. Her temperament is mellow and kind, the sort of pup who takes her time warming up but rewards patience with deep affection.

She’s doing well with her potty training and has zero reactivity or aggression. Flora likes people of all ages, toys of every kind, and quiet approaches that let her get comfortable at her pace. Once she trusts you, she melts right in.

She adores playing with our other foster puppy and has become a surprising little mentor. Her favorite lesson is teaching her foster sibling how to howl. She’s still figuring out her own voice, so the “duets” are ridiculously cute, all soft squeaks and baby bloodhound attempts at an ahrooo.

Flora enjoys the company of other dogs but still has a streak of independence. She’ll romp with her puppy friend, then wander off to do her own gentle exploring. She’s social, but she isn’t needy, and she carries herself with an easygoing calm that’s rare in a puppy.

Flora will be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a mellow, tenderhearted dog with a silly playful side. She’s going to grow into a big, beautiful companion who brings peace, charm, and those soft-as-silk ears everywhere she goes.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
