My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddie is the big brother of Toby and these two sweet front declawed boys must be adopted together as they have lived nearly their entire lives together. Freddie is 14 years old (born 6/13/2011) and you can tell him apart from his brother because he has short hair and also because he’s a much bigger boy (about 18 pounds). Don’t be afraid of his age, other than needing to lose some weight, Freddie received a good report at his most recent vet appointment.

Freddie received his name because he was found in a Meijer parking lot after his previous owner tossed him out of their van and his rescuer named him after Fred Meijer. He was instantly a snuggler and he has maintained his sweet disposition to this day in spite of a sad start. He is more hesitant than his brother when meeting new people but once he gets to know his person he wants to be near them. He is content to lounge in the sunshine and watch the action around him.

Freddie loves belly rubs and he has a great purr when he’s being petted. He is also a master biscuit maker and gives endearing “eye hugs.” Freddie is great about being picked up and will sit in your lap for pets. He has done well with children including babies and toddlers but he would likely appreciate a quieter home without a lot of action so that he can get his much loved cat naps in throughout the day.

These two very sweet bonded senior brothers will make your days full of joy. Can you provide them a loving home for their retirement years?
