I’m a 1 year and 9-month-old boy, a Jindo-Terrier mix, weighing about 21kg. I had a rough start in life — all my siblings found homes, but I ended up on the euthanasia list at a shelter. Thankfully, I was rescued just in time, and now I’m healthy, happy, and patiently waiting for my forever family.
I’m gentle, friendly, and love making new doggy friends. I get along well with most dogs, though if someone is too loud or pushy, I might take a small step back — I’m cautious, not aggressive. With people, I’m calm and sweet. I love sniffing new friends and leaning into pets like to say, “Go ahead, I don’t mind!” Sudden movements or high-pitched voices can startle me at first, but if you reach out gently, I’ll quickly wag my tail and open my heart.
I’m great with kids and adults, men and women. I even met children before and had no problems at all. I’m generally people-loving and approach strangers comfortably. I do have a little quirk with cats — I ignore ones that stay put, but sometimes chase cats that run. So I’d do best in a home without cats.
Walks are my absolute favorite! I get excited when I see my harness, but after the first 5–15 minutes, I calm down and walk nicely. I love sniffing everything, and sometimes I may pull a little if I find a scent I can’t resist. Loud noises like fluttering banners, cars, or motorcycles don’t bother me much, though I might jump if a cat or bird runs by.
I’m fully house-trained and go outside for all my business. I tend to mark sometimes, and I prefer natural surfaces like grass, dirt, or sand. I’m not clingy — I can relax alone at home and don’t get anxious when you go out. Inside, I enjoy quiet time and resting more than playing non-stop, and I rarely bark.
I’m comfortable riding in the car, and I have no motion sickness or anxiety. I take my medicine easily and cooperate at the vet. I do dislike having my paws cleaned, but I never show aggression — I just wiggle free for a moment.
I’m calm, well-socialized, and easygoing. I can live in a multi-dog home, but if I get plenty of walks and playtime, I’d also be happy as an only dog. I’m just a big, soft-hearted, easygoing boy who loves people and friends of all kinds.
So, where is my forever family?
I’m right here, quietly wagging my tail, waiting to meet you. 💛
With love,
Mansu 🐶
