My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie — a Gentle Mama Ready for Her Own Forever Love

My name is Sophie, and I’ve already lived a life far tougher than any cat should. I’ve had at least two litters before, and I was pregnant again when I was finally rescued. My babies are safe and sweet, and while I’m grateful for that, none of us should’ve ever had to survive the streets in the first place.

Since coming indoors, I’ve also learned something important about myself: I tested FIV+. Thankfully, now that I’m safe inside, it’s nothing I have to fear. Being FIV+ simply means my immune system struggled when I was exposed to the elements — but indoors, with love and care, I can live a long, full, and happy life. I can be adopted as a solo kitty or alongside other cats, and no one is in danger. I need a home that will keep me safe and spoiled.

I adore being petted, I soak up every bit of love my foster family gives me, and I’ve discovered the joys of warm beds, steady meals, and the comfort of truly being cared for.

What I want most is a family of my very own — one who will promise to keep me indoors, where I’ll never have to worry about danger, hunger, or weather again. I’ve been through enough, and I’m so ready for a life filled with gentleness and security.

I’m a loving girl with a big heart, and I’m dreaming of the day I get to bring that love to my forever home.

Will you be the family I’ve been wishing for?
