My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelly is a Sapsal Terrier mix, about 16 months old. She was brought to a private shelter with two of her siblings when she was just three months old. Born in September 2024, Nelly is incredibly sweet and gentle, and she gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and both sexes. While all of her siblings found homes within Korea, Nelly remained at the shelter for over a year before being transferred to Dream Tails.

She was spayed at six months and came close to facing euthanasia when the private shelter was forced to close.

Nelly is affectionate and warms up quickly to new people. She doesn’t jump, is very calm, and loves gentle attention. She walks well on a leash without pulling, though she doesn’t enjoy being picked up unless she already feels close and comfortable with the person.

Since Nelly has never lived inside a home, her future family may experience some initial challenges. She’ll need guidance adjusting to home life — especially with potty training. If left alone for too long, she may feel anxious or get into a bit of puppy mischief. But with patience, love, and a consistent routine, she’ll grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.

Nelly is now looking for a family who will give her all the love and cuddles she’s been waiting for!
