Sweet as honey is our Honeybee. She has been a good and busy mama as she had a litter of puppies and did her duty to wean them. Her pups are on their journey to find their forever home and Honeybee is on a quest to find hers as well. She is a three-year-old hound mix. Putting her mama days behind her and focusing in on a bright and loving future, Honeybee knows that she will find an amazing family to call her own. She is a large dog weighing around 55 pounds. A large gal to snuggle up with and get close too. She will find her happy place nestled into a warm environment surrounded by her family.
She is a medium energy gal who enjoys getting outside for some fresh air with either play, walks or just hanging out. Honeybee does well with other dogs and is great with children. Her exposure to a cat has not happened since coming into rescue so we do not know what her relationship with a cat would look like. At this point, that remains an unknown.
She is currently house and crate trained but will need more practice with her leash walking. Although she is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.
Days filled with love and warmth are just around the corner for our girl Honeybee. Good things come to those who wait, and Honeybee will be rewarded with the love of a lifetime. Every journey starts with one step. Make the next move and apply for Honeybee today.
