MY RESCUE STORY

I was at risk of euthanasia at the city pound due to overcrowding, but I was rescued just in time. Now, I’m ready for a fresh start and can’t wait to find my forever family!

MY PERSONALITY

Hi! I’m Toby. Even cuter in person, I love people and dog friends and am surprisingly calm for a 1-year-old pup. One of my favorite tricks is offering my paw for attention—it’s adorable and works every time! I’m sweet, smart, and always ready to charm everyone I meet.

MY SOCIAL SKILLS

· With People: I’m super friendly and love people! I enjoy greeting new friends, soaking up pets and affection, and giving my paw for extra treats. You can even pick me up—how can you resist my cuteness?

· With Dogs: I enjoy playing with my dog friends and meeting new ones. I generally get along best with dogs my size or smaller. I don’t guard my food against my dog friends.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. Due to my friendly personality, I may get along well with dog savvy cats. A cat test can be arranged upon request for the best match!

ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY

I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy some outdoor time to burn off energy, then I happily snuggle and relax indoors.

TRAINING & HABITS

I’m still learning leash skills and can freeze sometimes, though I’m improving every day. I do best on walks with another dog for emotional support. I don’t guard my food, rarely bark, and rest calmly in my kennel. I potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors.

SPECIAL NOTES

I’m a sweet, gentle, and adorable boy who loves people and dog friends! I’m calm and collected for my age, and one of my favorite things is playing with my friends at the care facility. I’m not overly motivated by food, and I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, meaning I’ll need a few days to settle into my new home and feel comfortable.
