My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Frieda — 19 pounds of opinionated charm wrapped in a cozy little Jack Russell mix body.
This middle-aged lady arrived as a stray, but it’s clear from day one that she’s been well-fed, well-loved, and maybe just a tiny bit spoiled — and honestly, she wears it well.

Frieda is looking for a calm, predictable home where she can be your quiet companion. She loves nothing more than curling up beside you, dozing the day away, and soaking in all the affection she can get. Like many Jack Russells, she prefers things on her own terms sometimes, but she gives plenty back when she’s comfortable.

We’re recommending an adult-only household or a home with older, respectful children who understand that Frieda isn’t interested in hustle and bustle. What she is interested in? Treats, soft beds, sunny spots, and a peaceful place to spend her golden years.

If you’re seeking a laid-back little buddy with a big personality, Frieda is ready to retire in style — right by your side.
