Meet Boo Radley — a 3–5 year old, 62-pound pit bull mix with the cutest freckles and a whole lot of heart.
When he first arrived, Boo was found scared and hiding behind someone’s garage. But once he realized he was safe, he suddenly showed his true colors — a confident, handsome boy who’s ready to start fresh.
Boo is looking for an experienced, adult-only home where he can continue to flourish. He’s a strong, sensitive dog who benefits from calm guidance and someone who understands how to support a pup still learning to trust the world again.
If you’re ready to help a deserving dog thrive, Boo Radley and his speckled little nose are waiting for you.
*Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment to meet a dog, we may not be able to assist you.
Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about this dog, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability.
