Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dashing and charming boy is Alexander!
Alexander came to PCHS when he was found as a stray in Lyle MN. The finders held onto him for over a month looking for owners but unfortunately no one ever came forward to claim him. He then made his way here so he could get some vet work and find his new home!
Alexander is a happy, social boy who would love an active family to take him on walks or play in the yard with him. He does not seem to mind the other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion in his new home. He is thought to be about 2 and half and some sort of smaller shepherd type mix. He is on the smaller side and under 50 pounds.
Alexander is looking for a fresh start where he can thrive. Could your home be the perfect fit for him? If you think so, apply online today!
Adoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Paws and Claws Humane Society (PCHS) is a non-profit, mostly volunteer organization that rescues and shelters homeless cats and dogs until they can be adopted into their “forever” homes. We want our clients to understand that adopting and animal is a lifetime responsibility and commitment to that animal.
All prospective adopters must show (at the time of adoption) a valid drivers license or other acceptable identification to verify their name, address, and age. Adopters must be 18 yrs of age. Children under the age of 12 years old need to be present at time of viewing shelter cats or dogs.
After submitting an application, there is generally a processing period of 1-3 days in order to complete all pre-adoption checks and paperwork before an adopter may take possession of the animal.
