She has lived in a home before and did well with kids, and here at the shelter she continues to do well with other dogs in playgroups. Reyna walks nicely on leash, knows some basic commands, and brings a gentle confidence to everything she does. She's affectionate without being overwhelming and has a way of fitting naturally into everyday life.

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
