My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Drumstick!

Drumstick is a joyful, playful pup who brings personality wherever he goes. His foster nicknamed him “porkchop” because of his adorable grunts and oinks when he is picked up or stretches, and because he was once a little bit of a chonk. Do not let his cuddly appearance fool you. Drumstick is full of energy and can hold his own in playtime, often out-wrestling his littermates and sometimes even taking on more than one at a time. He absolutely loves playing tug of war and brings a lot of enthusiasm to every game.

He is also a champion snuggler. Drumstick loves lap time, soaking up affection and attention whenever it is offered. He is continuing to learn gentle mouth manners and responds to guidance, especially during play. He also has wonderful potty habits. He consistently uses the pee pad and is the only pup in his group who reliably signals when he needs to go outside. He almost always chooses to poop outdoors.

In the last week he has filled out into a healthy weight and is gaining confidence every day. Drumstick is sweet, attention seeking, full of charm, and has a big personality that wins hearts quickly.

If you are looking for a companion who loves to play hard and snuggle even harder, Drumstick may be the perfect match.
